Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly linkup of book bloggers hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! This week, we’re highlighting books with titles that would make great newspaper headlines, and I’ve imagined what the stories might be about as well. I’ve been pulling from my to-be-read list for so many posts lately, I decided to go with books I’ve already read for this one!
Away Laughing On A Fast Camel: A story about a local adventurer on a trip to the Middle East.
A Beginning At The End: A sappy human interest story about a couple who met at a funeral.
City of Thieves: A story about local government corruption.
Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.: This could be anything…let’s say a bank heist!
The Final Revival of Opal & Nev: All I can think of is what it is…a story about a musical act getting ready to perform together again.
The Girl Who Played With Fire: A story about an underage arsonist.
I Know This Much Is True: A hot take op-ed.
The Last Picture Show: A story about a local theater shutting down.
Perfect Murder, Perfect Town: A murder in the kind of middle-class community where someone will be quoted as saying “Things like this don’t happen here”.
The Run Of His Life: A story about a high school track star winning the state track meet.

These are all great, but I especially like the first one. It sounds like it would headline a fun, feel-good adventure story. I would totally read that!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I’ve not heard of any of these before, but the titles are spot on. Happy reading! My TTT https://readwithstefani.com/book-titles-that-would-make-great-newspaper-headlines/
